Thank you for signing up to volunteer for the 2013 Dumb Friends League Furry Scurry! Please note, this website is ONLY for volunteer opportunities. If you want to register for the Furry Scurry as a participant, please visit the Dumb Friends League website at  www.furryscurry.org to sign up!

To sign up as a volunteer, please read through the "Ticket Types" above which discribe our volunteer opportunites for this event. You will notice there is a column that says FREE. That is just confirming that, to volunteer for this event, there is no fee. Once you have selected a volunteer opportunity, you will need to select the:

* More info button (right next to the volunteer opportunity title) to read detailed information about the volunteer position. This is where you will find the time slot for the volunteer shift and a short description.

* Quantity: (1 if you are just signing yourself up. If you plan to sign multiple people up, please select that number). After you select the quantity, please hit the Register button.

* Complete the required information:

     -Name

     -Email address

     -Phone Number

     -Address, City, State, Zip

     -Age (you MUST be 16 to volunteer for this event unless you are a current JVC member )

After you select the "Complete Registration" button, you will be emailed a confirmation ticket. About 2 weeks prior to the event, you will receive a confirmation letter, position desciption and map. This will be mailed to the address you provide. This will NOT be emailed to ensure you receive these important documents. Please keep an eye out for this information as a volunteer agreement form will be enclosed and we will give you important information on parking, volunteer check in location, and much much more.

***Please note that, if you are volunteering for this event, you cannot bring your dog with you while you are volunteering.***

You will be busy and your hands won't always be free, so we ask that you please leave your furry friends at home (or have a friend come to walk them). If you want to be able to volunteer as well as participate in the event, please select one of the early volunteer shifts. This will allow you time to get your dog and be back to the park by the 9:00 am start time. We also have two opportunities not listed on this site: Pre-Event set up Volunteer on the Friday prior to the event, May 4, and Pre-Registration, registering participants to walk in the event prior to May 5 (volunteer dates are in April) . This volunteer event does not count towards court ordered or school community service. If you are needing community service hours, please call our volunteer services department at (303) 751-5772, Ext. 7147 for information on enrolling in our community service program.
